  1. How we helped:

An Irish pharmaceutical company has a large site in Dublin where they needed to cater for multiple construction companies, who required a temporary base, while work was being completed to expand the main building site.

They required suitable high-quality site accommodation and welfare facilities for hundreds of on-site staff including general site operatives, quantity surveyors, project managers, and construction staff. Portakabin was approached to provide a solution that would prevent disruptions to the daily operations of the pharmaceutical company and create ‘a village’ for contractors to be based at for a lengthy period of time.

After agreeing layout drawings to maximise space, Portakabin installed high-quality Konstructa modular site accommodation in a flexible phased delivery. The final installation included multiple canteens, changing rooms and toilets as well as office and meeting room space. Our one-stop-shop approach meant that all furniture and white goods were provided along with emergency lighting, PIR sensors and energy-rated heaters. Fire alarms and extinguishers were also included.

Portakabin meet with us on site, and we were very impressed with the flexibility of their offering. After careful planning and consideration, Portakabin designed a triple stacked layout to cater for the needs of several contractors we have working on site. The quality of the buildings is excellent, and we were really happy with the turnaround time and finished product.
